This person works directly with the team to assess individuals with behavioral health and /or substance abuse issues, and to provide brief treatment services within the clinical setting. Integrated Behavioral Health Clinicians expand the team’s ability to treat persons with chronic medical issues that are complicated by lifestyle factors.Education, Experience, Skills, Qualifications:Masters or Doctorate in social work from an accredited college or universityLicensed independent clinical social worker in the state of Rhode Island (LICSW)Requires previous experience or internship in a medical setting which supports a primary care integration modelCommitment to work in community health with the challenges of a high risk, and often uninsured and diverse patient population required.CPR, certification required.Bicultural (Spanish) skills and bilingual experience preferredExperience in providing managed care patient services.
